Surrey County Council building framework deals up for grabs

Surrey County Council is inviting contractors to bid for its four-year building framework contracts worth a total of £20m per annum.

The deal covers general building work including new build construction and alterations and adaptation works for existing buildings. The build work will mostly cover schools, community facilities such as libraries, social care facilities, youth centres, as well as law and order, emergency services and office facilities.

Up to six contractors will be selected. Three will take on around £5m worth a work a year for projects costing up to £500,000. The other three will share £15m worth a year for schemes over £500,000.
