Miller expects 10th successive year of profit growth

Miller Group's expects to announce in March that in the year to December 2003 it recorded its 10th successive year of growth.

A trading statement released to the City today shows a 15% increase in group turnover to more than £750m, some £90m higher than in the previous year.

Miller Homes' turnover is 40% higher at £400m with the average price jumping by 17%, half of this the result of price inflation and the balance stemming from a push into higher value locations.

The construction services division completed six projects for Sainsbury and is the preferred bidder on the £115m Leeds NHS LIFT deal. This scheme could rise to a total value of more than £200m.
