TERM CONTRACT FOR GRAFFITI CLEANING OF THE BOROUGH'S PEDESTRIAN
SUBWAYS AND HIGHWAY BRIDGES
Applications are invited from suitably qualified contractors who wish
to tender for the graffiti cleaning of the borough's pedestrian
subways, highway bridges and controlled parking ticket machines.
The contract requires removing all graffiti markings and posters from
walls, floors, ceilings, footway, carriageway and other surfaces on
structures on the public highway at programmed intervals by suitable
cleaning methods, at time of visits. This is a three year contract
and work shall commence from 1st April 2004 to 31st March 2007.
The council intends using an "open" style arrangement for the
tendering of this contract, which will be awarded on the most
economically advantageous basis. Full details of the contract will be
contained in the tendering pack. All suitably qualified contractors
should request the tendering pack no later than 22nd January 2004.
The final time and date for the receipt of tenders is 12.00 noon on
Thursday 5th February 2004. Tenders received after this time and date
will not be considered.
