Highways maintenance - Torbay Council

TORBAY COUNCIL
TENDERS FOR VARIOUS HIGHWAY MAINTENANCE CONTRACTS 2004

Applications are invited from suitably experienced contractors
wishing to be included on select lists of tenderers for undertaking
the following individual contracts:
1. Carriageway Surface Dressing 2004
2. High Friction Surfacing - Two Year Contract

Contractors should apply to:
The Contracts Enginer, 4th Floor Union House, 89 Union Street,
Torquay, Devon TQ1 3TZ, in writing stating which contracts they are
interested in, to arrive no later than Friday 30th January 2004.
Applications must be accompanied by the following information:
i) A list of principal contracts undertaken in the last three years
with the clients' name, address and telephone number in order that a

reference can be taken up.
ii) A statement of technical expertise, labour and plant resources available.
iii) An indication of the proportion of the contract the applicant
may intend to sub-contract.
iv) Information on current health and safety policy and procedures.
v) Copies of audited accounts for the last three years.
Contractors that are registered with Constructionline are not
required to provide the information but must provide their
registration number.
