Bluestone wins £9m St Modwen deals

Bluestone has won two contracts with a subsidiary of St Modwen Properties to transform the town centre of Harpurhey in Manchester.

Bluestone will carry out all buildings works on both a £5.3m retail centre and a £3.5m leisure complex for Redman Heenan Properties.

Situated on the site of a former car park and wasteland, the retail development will comprise 12,000m2 of retail space, while the leisure complex will feature a competition size swimming pool.

Both projects are due for completion in November.
