Applications are invited from suitably
experienced firms wishing to be included in The
Standing List of Tenderers for the following
categories of work, maximum value £1,000,000.
1. Reclamation and Minor Works
2. Landscaping - interior, soft and hard works
3. Semi-mature tree planting
4. Sports Field Development
5. Fencing
6. Forestry
7. Site Investigation
The proposed date of issue of the list is April
2004, a full list of work categories will be sent
out with the application form.
Contractors wishing to apply should request an
application form in writing by 30th January 2004
quoting Ref. No. PO76.100 to:

Applicants will be required to produce:
1. Proof of insurance cover (including Public
Liability) to £10 million for any one incident,
the number of incidents being unlimited.
2. An up to date set of accounts, which includes
turnover, profits before tax and balance sheet.
3. Details of organisation structure human
resources, Health and Safety Policy including
conforming with CDM Regulations.
4. Two Technical references, preferably in Local Authorities
5. Brief description of similar works completed.
6. Details of Quality Assurance with relevant certification where applicable.
7. CIS tax certificates and proof of identity.

It should be noted that the City of Sunderland
reserves the right to reject any or all
applicants, and shall be under no obligation to
enter into any correspondence relating thereto.
NOTE:This list does not apply to Consultants.
