Professional support services group Mouchel Parkman has today (Friday) announced three major contract wins totalling £74m to take the Group's total forward order book to a record £724m.
The first contract is an eight-year £52m agreement between the global telecommunications solution provider, Alcatel and Mouchel's specialist technical rail subsidiary Metro, to undertake signalling upgrade works on the Jubilee and Northern Lines.
Mouchel has also been appointed preferred bidder for two social housing management contracts for the London Borough of Hackney worth a total of £22.4m. It will provide housing services relating to tenancy and leasehold management in two borough neighbourhoods, De Beauvoir & Queensland and Homerton.
Richard Cuthbert chief executive of Mouchel Parkman said: "They (the three contract wins) contribute to our record order book; demonstrate that we are maintaining our momentum in the immediate post-merger period; and provide the Group with significant growth in two of our hitherto smaller market sectors - rail and social housing."
