David Webster restructures
David Webster Group, the independent lighting specialist with an
annual turnover of £56m, has restructured its
businesses.
DW Lighting, the group's largest division, has a turnover of
£39m. Established 40 years ago, it provides street lighting
maintenance and installation services. Its contract with Leicester
City has been extended for six more years, commencing on 1
April.
Weblight provides internal lighting for a range of clients, many
within the retail sector, including Tesco and M&S. Turnover
runs to around £9m.
DW Windsor, a designer and manufacturer of exterior lighting
solutions, retains its independent status in the reshuffle.
DW Projects, the civil engineering and project management arm,
becomes a separate unit, with a turnover of £10m. It is
involved in the provision of highway information, including CCTV
cameras.
Mike Thompson is managing director of three of the four
subsidiaries, while David Webster, the group's founder, continues
as chairman.
