High Friction Surface Dressing Contract 2004-06
Applications are sought from experienced HAPAS
approved firms wishing to be included on a Select
List of Tenderers for the provision and laying of
HAPAS approved High Friction Surface Dressing to
various sites within the City of Sunderland.
Firms wishing to be considered should apply in
writing, no later than 1st March 2004 to:
Director of Development and Regeneration,
Highway, Maintenance Section, PO Box 102, Civic
Centre, Sunderland SR2 7DN
Applications should be accompanied by:
1. Brief particulars of similar work completed up
to a value of £100,000, together with the names
of the Employer and Engineer under whose
supervision the works were carried out.
2. Details of organisation structure and human resources.
3. Product Specifications.
4. Current Banker's address and references.
5. A copy of the Company's latest audited accounts.
6. Confirmation that a Parent Company Guarantee will be available if required.
7. A copy of the Company's insurance details.
8. Health and Safety Arrangements.The City of
Sunderland is a member of the Contractors Health
and Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS). Applicants
must have previously qualified for inclusion on
the City of Sunderland Approved List of
Contractors or be assessed as compliant under
CHAS.
