Interserve wins Arab horse racing centre

Interserve's United Arab Emirates project services business has won the main contract to build the £11m Endurance City Desert Retreat.

Khansaheb Civil Engineering, of which Interserve owns 45%, will build the horse racing and cultural centre for Emirates International Endurance Racing at Al Lisaili, 88km into the desert from Dubai.

The project is due fror completion in November 2004. The main contract includes a four-star hotel and external works.
