Wilson Bowden wins £100m Bolton regeneration


Wilson Bowden has won a £100m regeneration scheme in the centre of Bolton. The project will transform the Central Street and Bark Street areas of the city and will be developed by Wilson Bowden Developments and Wilson Bowden City Homes.

The proposal is based around a central square and includes 25,000m2 of retail and leisure facilities, 150 homes and 800-space multi-storey car park, together with extensive refurbishment of Victoria Hall. The development will be opened by 2008.

The clients are Bolton Council and Bolton Methodist Mission.
