'Building Success' shows that integrated teams do work

A joint publication by Constructing Excellence and the Construction Products Association, Building Success: lessons from manufacturers and suppliers who got it right, was launched today (Wednesday) at the Association's Network Club.

Rita Singh head of environment and industry performance at the Association said:  "We wanted to show the rest of the construction industry the benefits that accrue through the early involvement of manufacturers and suppliers in the construction process." 

Building Success showcases 10 successful projects, in both the private and public sector, where manufacturers and suppliers have worked with their customers to meet the challenges of integrated teams.

"The publication explores the common features in these projects in order to develop a 'checklist for success'. The 10 case studies also highlight examples of where early involvement has led to product innovation and process integration to the benefit of the client," added Singh.
