Willmott Dixon has secured a £13.5m contract from its strategic partner Catalyst Housing Group for phase three of the large-scale regeneration of the Resiform Estate in Brent.
The contract will involve the construction of 580 affordable homes over an eight-and-a-half year period.
The latest phase involves construction of 141 affordable homes and flats, along with a community centre, over the next two years.
The redevelopment of Resiform Estate is such a large project that it is being demolished and re-built in four separate phases.
Willmott Dixon began phase one in 1999 and completed it in 2002. Phase four is scheduled to start in 2006 and finish in 2008.
