Building envelope specialist Weatherwise
has won a £600,000 contract to work on the redevelopment and
refurbishment of Arla Foods office and production facilities in
Wythenshawe, Manchester.
The contract is with Amec Capital Projects and is due to commence
in late April.
The building envelope will consist of mineral fibre roof and wall
cladding, cold store panels, windows and curtain walling and a
single ply membrane roof.
Logistics will play a huge role in the
project as the manufacturing process will be ongoing throughout the
contract, which should be complete by the end of 2004.
Weatherwise has also secured the contract for work on their ninth
David Lloyd Leisure Centre, located in Worthing.
The project involves a curved standing seam roof and microfibre
composite wall cladding. Weatherwise has a long standing history of
working with David Lloyd Leisure and this will bring the total
value of projects completed to over £3m.
