Be launches collaborative exchange programme
An initiative to deliver improved project and business performance
to support collaborative working through the use of information and
communication technologies was launched last week.
The Avanti Programme, the brainchild of Be (Collaborating for the
Built Environment), is claimed to support construction project
teams in adopting integrated, collaborative working over the next
five years.
The programme will be funded by £750,000 from the Department
of Trade and Industry and will provide a standard method of data
exchange and information management between team members - along
with access to experts who can help implement the method.
