Construction books site revamped

Construction Books Direct (CBD), the official online bookshop of the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB), launches its new design today (Friday).

The website (www.constructionbooksdirect.com) redesign includes an easy-to-use navigation system for straightforward access into a vast range of books in over 50 categories.

In 2000 the website first started to offer the online ordering service in direct response to existing customers' comments and needs.

Since then Construction Books Direct has become a major source of construction related books and contracts for the construction industry, universities and colleges throughout the world, with hundreds of titles readily available to order online.

John Douglas CIOB director said: "This new design and navigation makes the site faster and effortless to use, allowing the viewer to access our wide range of industry publications and contracts with much greater ease. 

"The CBD collection of titles is an ever-increasing one, we provide the industry, and the public, with a complete one-stop-shop for construction related books."
