Longley, part of the Kier Group, has secured £13m worth of work for five clients throughout the south east.
Working under the Kier Retail banner, Longley has been awarded a £2.9m contract to build an extension for an existing Tesco store in Burgess Hill. The project is scheduled for completion in September 2004.
The National Centre for Young People with Epilepsy has awarded the company a £2.5m contract to design and build new accommodation buildings for a children's home in Lingfield, Surrey. The project, known as the Windmill, is due to start in late spring and will last for 42 weeks.
West Sussex County Council picked Longley as its contractor to upgrade two schools in Crawley, Three Bridges Infants and Southwest Gate Primary, under a combined project valued at £590,000.
And 17 years after Longley carried out major extension work to the Queen Alexandra Hospital Nursing Home in Worthing, it has now been awarded a £3m contract to construct a new ward at the hospital over a programme spanning 55 weeks.
Finally, Mission Care has awarded Longley a £4m design and build project to construct a 70-bedroomed home in Bromley.
