Latham to review Housing Grants Act

Sir Michael Latham will carry out the review into part II of the
Housing Grants, Construction and Regeneration Act 1996.
Sir Michael will review the adjudication and payment provisions of the Act. The Chancellor committed the government to looking at the Act in last month's pre-Budget statement.
Construction minister Nigel Griffiths said: "I am very pleased that someone of Sir Michael's expertise and experience is leading the review. Sir Michael played a vital role in the development of the Construction Act and has long been a leading advocate of the improvement agenda."
