Komatsu adds control systems

Komatsu has signed an agreement with Topcon that allows the advanced automatic machine control systems jointly developed by the parties to be added as optional equipment for Komatsu's motor graders and dozers. The collaboration includes onboard blade control devices, software and GPS base stations.
The companies have recently launched the 2D/3D auto blade system for two-dimensional blade control for level finishing and three dimensional control for slope finishing.
