Leisure centre extension - Hambleton District Council

SELECT LIST OF CONTRACTORS FOR PROPOSED MUGA AND
EXTENSIONS TO BEDALE LEISURE CENTRE
BEDALE HIGH SCHOOL NOF PROJECT
Applications are invited from suitably
experienced contractors for inclusion on a select
list to carry out alterations and extensions to
the existing Bedale Leisure Centre and adjoining
Bedale High School Sports Hall to allow joint use
of the two facilities. An outdoor Multi Use Games
Area is also to be constructed as part of the
project by a Nominated Sub-Contractor.
The estimated total contract value is
approximately £600,000 including £150,000 for the
MUGA. The proposed contract period is July to
December 2004.
Applications should include the following Company details:
(1) Previous history of similar size contracts.
(2) Technical references.
(3) Financial references.
(4) Most recent Trading accounts/balance sheets from last three years.
(5) Evidence of current adequate insurance
Employers Liability and Public Liability
(£5,000,000 Employers and £10,000,000 Public
Liability cover minimum).
(6) Details of Health and Safety Policy.

Director of Planning and Environmental Services,
Civic Centre, Stone Cross, Northallerton, North
Yorkshire DL6 2UU by no later than noon on Friday
23 April 2004.
