Brandon adds four depots to its empire

Brandon Tool Hire has continued its promised national expansion with the acquisition of a further four depots in Kent, adding to its 106 UK outlets.
The depots in Crayford, Gillingham, Maidstone and Tonbridge were previously operated by Anvil Plant Hire, and have added a further 37 employees to Brandon's staff.
Earlier this year, Charles Skinner, Brandon's chief executive, said the company would achieve a 25% expansion within the year and add 17 new depots.
So far in 2004, Brandon has opened seven outlets, including branches in Chelmsford, Kings Cross and Rugby.
"This clearly shows what a dynamic and progressive company Brandon is, always looking for opportunities to expand," Skinner said.
"But there's more to come," Skinner added. "We are looking at an additional four depots opening in the near future."
