Construction Confederation sells headquarters for £6m
The Construction Confederation (CC) has sold its headquarters
building in Leonard Street, London, for £6m. The buyer is the
Ethical Property Group and the CC is due to vacate the premises by
the end of June.
A CC spokesman said it is still looking for a new head office. It
may take a short-term lease if
it cannot find a permanent
base quickly.
The CC moved out of its old Cavendish Street office five years ago
in a cost-cutting exercise.
It is understood to have made a substantial profit on the Leonard
Street sale, which has again been prompted by a need to cut costs.
