CONTRACT FOR BUILDING SERVICES
MAINTENANCE CONTRACTS
Applications are invited from suitably qualified contractors who are
interested in tendering for Building Services Maintenance Contracts
managed by Trafford Borough Council.
It is anticipated that the select list will be valid for three years
beginning on 1st April 2005. The works will be carried out under
annual term contracts and on a time and materials basis.
Interested contractors should have the ability to mobilise a suitably
qualified workforce, managed and resourced from a local base and
should have experience of working on similar contracts elsewhere.
Applicants must provide copies of their last two years audited
accounts, a copy of the health and safety policy, including any
Asbestos Awareness Training for employees and the names and addresses
of three referees from whom relevant references can be obtained.
Contractors must indicate which select list they are applying for and
provide three references for each.
The Contracts/Work Types are as follows:
1) Warden Call and Door Entry Installation and Maintenance
2) Fire Alarm and Emergency Lighting Installation and Maintenance
3) Portable Appliance Testing
4) CCTV Installation and Maintenance
5) Electrical Maintenance/Minor Works
6) Intruder Alarm Installation and Maintenance
7) Lightning Protection Installation and Maintenance
