Morrison Utility Services (MUS) has won three long-term contracts with Thames Water to provide a range of services on its potable water network throughout the AMP4 period.
The partnering contracts are with both Network Operations and TW
Engineering and could be for as long as 10 years subject to
satisfactory performance.
A range of activities will be carried out under the operational
contracts, which start in May, including repairs and maintenance,
leakage detection and customer side leakage.
MUS is also preferred bidder on the capital engineering contract for Network Upgrade in both South London and the Provinces. This contract will involve a small volume of work in 2004 but will start in earnest in April 2005 when the AMP4 period begins.
MUS area director Adam Gosnold said: "These awards are a major
opportunity for the future and provide an ideal platform to
consolidate our long-term relationship with Thames Water as a major
supplier across their distribution network."
