Expression Of Interest In
PARTNERING CYCLICAL PLANNED EXTERNAL DECORATIONS AND MINOR REPAIRS
South Shropshire Housing Association seek
applications from prospective partners with
appropriate experience and qualifications.
Applicants are required to demonstrate their
similar experience in occupied properties and
commitment to partnering, developing their
"Construction Excellence" including "Respect for
People" and "Considerate Constructor" schemes.
South Shropshire Housing Association have an
initial budget of £230k for cyclical external
decorations for 2004/2005 to be carried out
between May and October 2004.
The works comprise:-
* Clean all types of windows / doors / fascias / gutters etc.

* Preparation of external joinery including
full removal of existing paintwork
* Minor repairs / replacement as necessary (Schedule prepared)
* Full redecoration in accordance with the Association's specification
The Association invites expressions of interest
from suitably experienced organisations to be
submitted for consideration in their partnering
tender process.
It is the Association's intention to team with
the selected organisation as a Strategic Partner
for the above works, subject to satisfactory
performance.  Performance will be assessed by
quality, cost, time, and other Key Performance
Indicators. Applicants should be able to
demonstrate their knowledge and experience of the
partnering process preferably with evidence of
prior projects, working in occupied dwellings and
residential properties with liaison management,
equal opportunities, health and safety and
partnering local resources.

Following evaluation of the questionnaires,
documentation will be issued for interviews with
the short listed Constructors.
