Totty Construction has won a £5.4m mixed-use development in Sheffield city centre for Abbey Projects.
Totty is constructing a six-storey apartment block,
incorporating three retail units at ground level, on Campo Lane on
a derelict site, which was once the site of a former school.
The concrete framed block will feature 50 new apartments and
include basement car parking
and a landscaped courtyard at the back.
The block itself will be brick clad with some stone detailing to
ensure it is in keeping with surrounding buildings, including
Sheffield Cathedral, which is adjacent to the site.
Work will start in early June and should take about 61 weeks to
complete.
