Alfred McAlpine wins £78m of new work

Alfred McAlpine's Business Services and Capital Projects divisions have won £78m of new work.

The Business Services arm has won two deals: a five-year £20m contract to provide property and facilities management services for ABRO; and a three-year £9m contract with Royal & Sun Alliance, also providing property and facilities management services.

The Capital Projects division has won half a dozen contracts, the largest being the £22m redevelopment of the Vancouver Centre at Kings Lynn. Other wins include the £5.3m Holiday Inn Express Hotel at Cardiff International Airport and the £2.9m contract for the Highways Agency to install motorway incident detection infrastructure on the M6, M61, M65 and the M55.
