STANDING/TERM TENDER LIST
ASBESTOS REMOVAL CONTRACTORS
October 2004 - September 2006
Applications are invited from suitably qualified licensed companies
with at least two years trading experienced interested in being
considered for the removal of all types of Asbestos.
Companies will be required to provide evidence of licenses held,
procedures and records, including compliance with the Landfill
Regulations 2004 and be capable of working in all types of Council
owned properties, including:-
Museums, Libraries, Sports & Youth Centres, Schools, Council Offices,
Sheltered Schemes, Childrens Homes and Domestic Properties
Work will be issued either on a Schedule of Unit Rates basis for
response type work or by quotation/tender for programmed work.
Contractors selected will be invited to tender a percentage
adjustment to the appropriate schedule and held on a Standing List.

Applications are also invited from established companies interested
in being considered for inclusion on the following Standing Lists of
Approved Contractors:-
FURNITURE REMOVALS
WALL TIE REPLACEMENT
October 2004 - September 2006
Work in the above categories will mainly be carried out to
Neighbourhood and Housing Services properties.
Furniture Removal contractors will be required to undertake the
removal and relocation of furniture and personal effects from and to
domestic properties. There may also be requirements for the removal
of office furniture and equipment.
Contractors approved for Furniture Removal or Wall Tie Replacement
work will be invited to quote or tender for individual work as
required.
Applications by letter, fax or e-mail giving details of name and
address of company, quoting reference CJ61 must be received by Friday
4 June 2004 and addressed to:-
