Manufacturer training schemes set up by CITB

CITB-ConstructionSkills has announced the first batch of sectors to be added to its Manufacturer Training Programme initiative.
Joining the three original pilot trades of single-ply roofing, fire protection and resin flooring are:
n Relocatable partitioning.
n Suspended ceilings.
n Applied waterproof membranes.
n Joint sealant application - (civil engineering and building).
n Drilling and sawing equipment manufacturers and suppliers.
n Faade maintenance and stone cleaning.
A further 10 are expected to be introduced throughout the year in batches.
