Three McDonald's managers have become the first construction personnel to gain an NVQ Level 5 qualification in Construction Project Management.
Regional construction manager Peter Wall, senior project manager Gareth Jones and project manager Richard England were awarded their qualifications this week by Sir Michael Latham.
The qualification is the first of its kind and is designed for construction personnel who engage in construction project management. Managers are required to provide satisfactory evidence of their management skills, technical knowledge and competence in managing construction projects.
Wall said: "It has been a tough time, but worth the hard work. This means a lot to each of us."
The trio have also become chartered members of the Chartered Institute of Building.
