Network Rail has awarded framework agreements for the supply of permanent engineering and technical staff to four recruitment consultants.
EPCglobal, Morson, Resourcing Solutions and Roevin will provide a first tier of recruitment for the hiring of permanent staff, with a second tier of suppliers offering candidates in more specialised areas. Network Rail has also awarded two framework agreements (to EPCglobal and MSP) for temporary recruitment. The agreements will run for three years.
"We had recognised a need to improve the value for money and
effectiveness of recruitment within Network Rail in order to
support the needs of the business," senior supply chain manager Rob
Davis said. "Focusing more time and business through a select
number of key suppliers enables us to achieve this."
