Skanska wins £200m BT renewal contract

Skanska Networks, the specialist telecommunication and utility network infrastructure providing arm of Skanska, has sealed a £200m renewal contract from British Telecom (BT).

Awarded under BT's framework agreement, the four year contract for Yorkshire & Humber and Thames Valley will involve the provision of telecom infrastructure services, civil engineering utility works and underground cabling and jointing works.

Skanska Networks, which has been managing BT works over the past four years, delivers in excess of 50,000 customer orders for BT every year.
