Totty Construction to build £5.1m special needs school

Totty Construction, under a partnering agreement with Jarvis, has secured a contract to build a new £5.1m special educational needs school for Kirklees Metropolitan Borough Council.

The Public Private Partnership (PPP) funded project will create a new single-storey school
at Fairfield in West Yorkshire.

The school, sited adjacent to the existing Leeside junior school, will feature extensive external play areas, a sensory garden and wildlife area.

The project, due to start next month, is set for completion in July 2005.
