Tenders for Highway Works Term Contracts

1. Asphalt and Bituminous Works (Highway Surfacing) -Approx value £1.5m pa
2. Public Lighting Maintenance & New Works - Approx value £750,000 pa
3. Minor Highway Works (including Improvement
Schemes) -  Approx value £750,000 pa

Kensington and Chelsea Council is seeking
expressions of interest from contractors of
proven capability and experience for the above
contracts. The annual value given is approximate,
the actual figure can fluctuate and no guarantee
is given regarding the value of work from year to
year.
The contract is expected to commence on 1 April

2005 and run for a three-year period with a
provision in the rates for the tenderers to offer
a percentage reduction for a five-year term
contract.
