Persimmon has acquired two major brownfield sites for redevelopment. the combined schemes will provide 1,700 homes with a total sales value of more than £260m.
The largest of the two is 31.5ha site at Cape Hill, Birmingham, on land previously occupied by the former Coors Brewery. Up to 975 new homes will be built on the site, worth in excess of £110m. Both Persimmon and Charles Church homes will be built.
The other site on Tufnell Way in Braiswick, Colchester, measures 16ha and has consent for 750 homes, worth £150m.
