The Kier Group has stepped in to the breach to complete the building of a new children's hospice in Balloch for Children's Hospice Association Scotland (CHAS).
The £6.3m deal will see Kier Scotland working on Robin House, as the project is known, until May 2005 after the original builders had to quit the project.
It is the second children's hospice development to be built in Scotland and will provide respite care for nine children and accommodation for family members and staff.
An education suite, a glazed internal courtyard to house playrooms and a specialist unit for teenagers will also be built as part of the project.
