Jackson Building Services has secured a £1.5m contract with Cambridgeshire County Council to build a two-storey classroom block extension, and a single storey craft, design & technology block in Whittlesey.
The two new extensions to the existing Sir Harry Smith Community
College building will be constructed using pre-fabricated concrete
cladding panels - which will form the internal and external walls,
roof and floors.
The project includes a significant component of mechanical &
electrical work and Jackson Building Services will also carry out
some external works.
The 32 week project is due to start on site early July.
