Tunstall Northern Bypass
Applications are invited from suitably
experienced contractors who wish to be included
in a select list of tenderers for the above
scheme.
The site is situated one kilometre to the north
of Tunstall Town Centre, Stoke-on-Trent,
Staffordshire. The works consist of the
construction of approximately 1.5 kilometres of
single carriageway road incorporating three
roundabouts, culverts, an underpass, retaining
walls and landscaping and environmental
considerations. Junctions onto the existing
Highway Network will be formed at three
locations. The estimated cost of the main works
is approximately £4.2M.
It is intended that the Contract will commence in
January 2005 with a contract period of 12 months.
Contractors should register their interest in
writing for consideration onto the Select List.
