Interserve has won a hatful of contracts worth more than £100m in total, including two NHS ProCure 21 projects among the largest.
Interserve has been named principal supply chain partner for the South London and Maudsley NHS Trust project covering two medium-secure mental health facilities with a total of 113 beds. Details are expected to be finalised by the end of the year with construction taking place during the following two years.
The second ProCure 21 project is for Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Trust. It consists of two schemes at Huddersfield Royal Infirmary: the relocation of the Pharmacy Manufacturing Unit; and the conversion of facilities to create new urology wards and a surgical assessment unit.
Meanwhile, the Office for National Statistics has given Interserve a two-year extension to its existing five-year contract to provide facilities management on its five main sites. The £14m extension will begin in November 2005.
Also, Interserve will undertake the refurbishment of 33 offices in the Jobcentre Plus programme for the Department of Work and Pensions, worth £15m.
