Weedkilling tenders - Cambridgeshire County Council

INVITATION TO APPLY FOR INCLUSION ON SELECT TENDER LIST
Applications are invited from suitably experienced Companies who wish
to be considered for inclusion on a Select Tender List for carrying
out Weedkilling in urban and rural areas within 3 Highway Divisions
of the County of Cambridgeshire.
The works shall consist of a series of 3 treatments throughout the
growing season to all weeds and grasses growing within the road
channels, adjacent to back of kerb, spot weed killing to all
individual weeds or clusters of weeds and grasses along footways and
paved areas, as well as any additional areas that may be detailed.
All such works must be carried out using an approved total weedkiller.
Lists are to be prepared for the period 1 April 2005 to 3 September 2006.
The process will include financial and technical evaluations with a
set of quality questions to be satisfactorily completed. Due to
changing budgets, the value of work cannot be guaranteed. The
evaluation will be used to restrict the numbers of Tenderers in the
list to a maximum of
5 companies.
