Haymills completes MBO

Haymills completed the management buy-out of its contracting and M&E businesses earlier this week. The MBO team was led by managing director Julian Brandon.

He said: "The return to profitability is a success story, and the MBO allows us to plan for the future independently and unencumbered, having complete control over all aspects of the business."

The company will be renamed Haymills Group and will become the parent company of Haymills (Contractors) and H Warner & Son.

Earlier this year, the previous owners sold off the non-core business: builders' merchant Omnico Plastics and fit-out specialist Whitespace.
