Reading asbestos removal and treatment

APPLICATION TO TENDER FOR ASBESTOS REMOVAL AND TREATMENT WORK
Applications are invited from licensed asbestos removal contractors wishing to tender for asbestos removal and treatment and associated works to the Council's Property Portfolio, including housing, education, leisure and other commercial buildings. The works are to be undertaken under a 3 year Measured Term Contract commencing on 1st November 2004.
The Council does not undertake to invite all applicants to tender and documents will be dispatched to successful applicants early in September 2004.
Initial applications must include full details of:
(a) the Company
(b) the Company Safety Policy
(c) names and addresses of two technical/financial references

(d) the Company's latest audited accounts
(e) details of projects of a similar nature
(f) a copy of the Company's current licence for asbestos work.
Applications must be received by Tuesday 31st August 2004.
Contractors who fail to supply all of the above information will not be considered for tendering.
