Bovis to project manage Milan redevelopment

Bovis Lend Lease has been appointed to project manage the £940m redevelopment of the Fiera Milano exhibition centre in Milan.

The centre currently occupies a 440,000m2 site. CityLife, the international consortium that won the competition to redevelop the site, will transform 255,000m2 of the site into a landscaped mix of commercial, residential and cultural space.

Bovis worked as project manager with CityLife on the bid phase.

Demolition works are scheduled to start in February 2006 with completion set for 2014.
