Interserve wins £500m South East prime contract

Interserve's PriDE consortium has been named preferred bidder by the Ministry of Defence for the £500m South East prime contract.

Interserve, along with consortium partner Scottish & Southern Energy, will be responsible for capital works and property maintenance at 171 major MoD sites throughout the South East. The contract will run for seven years, with an optional three-year extension subject to performance.

The contract is expected to be signed in November.
