Caterpillar has launched a new telehandler, completing its eight- model B-series line-up.
Available in the UK by the end of the year, the TH580B is the largest machine in Cat’s range and has 5t rated capacity and a maximum lift height of 17m.
The company said it is offered in two machine configurations – construction and construction plus – that allow the customer to match specification and equipment levels to their application needs.
Powered by a Tier II compliant Cat 3054E diesel engine with a rated output of 74.5kW, the machine features a fully synchronised four-section boom with load sensing hydraulics.
Cat said the TH580B has been built around a durable main frame and retains the proven side-mounted engine layout that allows for all-round visibility and easy servicing.
