CONTRACT FOR BUILDING SERVICES MECHANICAL
MAINTENANCE CONTRACTS
Applications are invited from suitably qualified contractors who are
interested in tendering for Building Services Mechanical
Maintenance Contracts managed by Trafford Borough Council.
It is anticipated that the select list will be valid for three years
beginning on 1st April 2005. The works will be carried out under
annual term contracts and on a time and materials basis.
Interested contractors should have the ability to mobilise a suitably
qualified workforce, managed and resourced from a local base
and should have experience of working on similar contracts
elsewhere. Applicants must provide copies of their last two years
audited accounts, a copy of the health and safety policy, including
any Asbestos Awareness Training for employees and the names
and addresses of three referees from whom relevant references
can be obtained.
Contractors must indicate which select lists they are applying for
and provide three references for each list.

2) Commercial Boiler Maintenance & Repair
3) Air Conditioning Plant, Supply and Extract Systems
Maintenance & Repair
4) Refrigeration Equipment Maintenance and Repair
5) Catering Equipment Maintenance and Repair
6) Pressurisation Equipment Maintenance and Repair
7) Fire Fighting Equipment Maintenance and Repair
8) Prevention and Control of Legionella
9) Fan Convector and Maintenance Repair
10) Thermostatic Mixing Valve Maintenance and Repair
11) A Comprehensive Contract for Complex Services in
Administration Buildings
The closing date for applications is Friday, 10th September 2004.
