National Construction Week: it's not too late

It's not too late to organise an event for National Construction Week (NCW), according to the initiative's managers. NCW takes place on 6-13 October.

A ConstructionSkills spokesman said: "The success of NCW depends on as many employers as possible getting involved and offering compelling opportunities for young people to experience construction.

"The NCW website has more than 1,300 event days registered and the total for NCW 2003 was 1,536. With a bit more effort from the industry as a whole, this year's event should easily surpass the success of last year's."
