Archibalds signs up as supply partner to Hewlett

Hewlett Civil Engineering has continued to review its supply chain management and has signed a partnered alliance agreement with Durham-based builders' merchant Archibalds.
The two companies have worked together for six years.
Archibalds civil engineering sales manager Ian MacFeggan said: "Many companies claim to partner, but in the construction industry few have the expertise and experience that Hewlett can demonstrate.
"We're also working to ensure close relationships with key national manufacturers - ensuring co-ordinated supply chain management from start to finish."
Hewlett corporate development manager Stuart Firth added: "This is not a soft option - both sides of the partnership have to perform to exacting targets."
