Second secondment for Evans

Dr Rodger Evans, head of strategy at the Department of Trade & Industry's (DTI) Construction Sector Unit, is being seconded to Constructing Excellence as its deputy chief executive.
Evans, who was head of the construction sector unit at the Health & Safety Executive before his secondment to the DTI in 2001, has been tasked with harmonising Constructing Excellence and government activity, and will also have responsibility for funding and Demonstration.
The secondment, which begins on 1 October, will last for at least one year, with an option to extend it to three years.
