Emcor ties up £11m CTRL contract

Emcor Rail has coupled up to an £11m mechanical and electrical deal on the second phase of the Channel Tunnel Rail Link (CTRL) project.
The contract, awarded by Rail Link Engineering, centres on two stations currently under construction at Stratford and Ebbsfleet and includes works on the North Kent Line platform at Ebbsfleet.
The deal includes project management, design, supply installation, testing and commissioning of services at both stations.
Emcor's task is expected to be completed in December 2005.
